Favorite spots . Mediterranean Garden

We love to visit the  l’Albarda garden, a beautiful Mediterranean garden to stroll around.  The “Palace of Shadows” (see picture) is only one of the extraordinary spots of the garden. A must visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

“Enjoy the silence,

discover different species

of mediterranean plants and trees,…

the colors and magnificent views

are a treat for the eye,…”

The garden was founded by Enrique Montoliu. Initially it was a private garden, but  as the garden expanded, the doors for visitors opened up. Nowadays the garden is owned by the Fundación Enrique Montoliu ‘FUNDEM’, a foundation for the conservation of Mediterranean fauna and flora.
